2025-26 WI Real Estate CE & License Renewal

CE_LicRenew_25

2025-26 WI Real Estate Continuing Education:  All WI-licensed brokers (no exceptions) and any salespersons who earned your license prior to 10/1/26 must complete 18 hours of WI Real Estate CE and renew your license with WI-DSPS by 12/14/26.

NOTE re: Live/Video CE: NWAR partnered with WRA in the past to offer live and video CE courses, but new minimum attendance requirements exceeding past turnouts make it untenable going forward.  If you need help completing WRA online CE, please contact the board office to arrange date(s)/time(s) to take online CE here using your laptop while staff is present to assist if needed.

WRA Online CE:  CLICK HERE to register for 2025-26 Real Estate CE with the Wisconsin REALTORS Association.  Make sure to logon first to get the WRA Member discount!

  • After ordering WRA CE, go to your profile ("Hello Yourname" at top right), then click "Education" in the left menu and your CE courses will appear on that page.
  • NAR Triennial CoE & FH Training Requirements:  Each local association's board of directors has discretion over which CE providers' curriculum it accepts to fulfill the NAR Code of Ethics and Fair Housing training requirements.  The NWAR Board accepts only WRA's CE curriculum to satisfy both, so completing your 2025-26 Real Estate CE with WRA automatically satisfies both requirements.  Completing CE with any other provider is fine, but you may be notified to complete NAR's online CoE and/or FH courses (both free) by the end of 2027.
  • Once you have completed the 12 required courses + 6 electives (18 total), remember to proceed to the next steps to renew your real estate license with WI DSPS before it expires on 12/14/26!

WI Real Estate License Renewal Instructions:  NOTE: DSPS typically opens for real estate licensed renewals by Nov 1st - mark your calendar accordingly!

  • Sign in to LicensE at license.wi.gov
  • Follow the steps in the DSPS renewal walkthrough video.
  • Having problems? See the DSPS credentialing and license FAQ.
  • Principal Brokers: if you also hold a business entity license, you must renew it separately by 12/14/26 following similar steps similarly to steps in the video above.  Note that the DSPS website uses an email address as the username for each license, so your entity license was most likely registered using a different email address than your individual broker license.

2027 NWAR Membership Renewals:  2027 NWAR membership renewal e-invoices were emailed to all NWAR Members Friday 10/9/26 morning with a due date of 11/30/26.  Please follow the instructions to renew by 11/30 or contact Matt with questions or to have it sent again (after checking spam folder).  If you are not a NWAR Member (eg: CWBR, UPAR, RASCW, GMAR, RANW, etc) and have not yet received an invoice to renew for 2027, please contact your primary local board to inquire.
