Appraisals: Per the Appraisal Institute newsletter, it is likely that emergency measures may be implemented allowing appraisers to conduct "exterior only inspections". This may necessitate asking sellers to help appraisers by providing current photos of the home interior and mechanical systems, conduct phone interviews re: updates/remodels and more. It may also be prudent to ask sellers if their property was appraised in the past 3-5 years and if the appraiser is acceptable to the lender, consider engaging him/her again to update the past report for the new sale purpose. That may help ease lenders' concerns since the appraiser did an interior inspection not long ago. Thank you Kyle Zastrow for sharing this info.
Voting: We strongly recommend requesting an absentee ballot ASAP to vote in the 2020 Spring Election and Presidential Preference Vote on April 7th. Request an absentee ballot online at: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/
